Fellowship Trained Orthopaedic Surgeon
Specializing in Hip and Knee Joint Reconstruction
Dr. Zavoyski is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee total and partial joint replacements and revision joint replacements. Initially born in Pennsylvania, he has subsequently lived in Florida since he was seven years old. He obtained his undergraduate BS degree at the University of Florida in 2001. He then acquired his MD degree at the University of South Florida, College of Medicine. From there he went on to an internship in trauma/general surgery at the Orlando Regional Medical Center. He successfully completed an Orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Miami including the completion of a chief residency year. Following this he subspecialized in a joint replacement surgery fellowship at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute, a nationally renowned institution. Dr. Zavoyski has specialized training in all formats of hip and knee joint replacement procedures including muscle sparing or minimally invasive surgery, computer assisted surgery, robotic assisted surgery, and complex joint primary and revision procedures.
